Stalls have been opened up for rent at the farmer's market in AA. Thoddoo.
The Business Centre Corporation (BCC), under the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, has decided to set up a farmers' market in Thoddoo to promote small and medium enterprises in the agriculture sector and facilitate the sustainability of such businesses.
BCC said that the market would open up opportunities to take the products or services provided by the farmers of Thoddoo to greater heights, create a market or market yard for the small, small and medium enterprises engaged in agriculture, and provide a low-cost, profitable, or low-risk and high-reward platform to sell their products and services.
According to the BCC, only those above the age of 18 years of age from Thoddoo can apply for the market yard and they should be the smallest business or cultivator of Thoddoo.
The stalls will be allotted at a cost of MVR 3,500 per month for two years, and in addition to this price, a fee of MVR 300 per month will be levied as utility cost of the godowns.
Those interested in renting out market yards will have to apply through an online form, which can be accessed https://forms.office.com/r/nycRvHGVsV and more information will be available by emailing the [email protected].
