Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened application for Expression of Interest (EoI) to develop a dive centre in Hulhumale' Phase I.

HDC on Friday said it will give priority to the land lease model while awarding the project, but the EoIs can be submitted for other models as well, adding that the EoI should include details of equipment to be included in the dive centre, classes and packages at the dive centre.

If more than one party has shown interest in the project and submitted a proposal, the project will be handed over to the best proposed bidder and the factors to be looked into while evaluating the EoIs include the proposed business model, the operator's experience and CSR, HDC said.

The deadline for those interested in the project to submit their EoIs is 1400 hrs on August 29. The EoIs can be submitted to the [email protected] via e-mail , HDC said.

HDC further said that more information regarding the project will be available on the corporation's website, https://www.hdc.mv/announcements/, and more information can be clarified even by calling the corporation's number 1516.
