The Ministry of Home Affairs has released the names of the companies that paid the dues after the release of the list of companies defaulting on their quota fee and work permit fees for migrant workers was released.

The Ministry released the names of companies that have not paid the fees of expatriates on July 25, including major construction companies in the country and others doing extensive business. Out of the 1,026 companies named, 123 companies owe more than a million MVR to the state.

According to the Home Ministry, MVR 182.9 million has been recovered since the names of the companies were made public.
