Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened invitations to submit expression of interest (EoI) for the development and operation of three mid-scale hotels in Hulhumale' Phase II Urban Isle.

HDC on Thursday said it will follow the land lease model while allotting the project, but the EoIs submitted to the corporation can be submitted to other models as well.

If more than one party has shown interest in the projects and submits a proposal, the project will be handed over to the best proposed bidder and the factors to be looked into while evaluating the EOIs include the proposed business model, operator experience and CSR, HDC said.

HDC said that those interested in developing and operating the hotel in Urban Isle will have to submit the EOI by 1400 hrs on August 29 through e-mail and the EoI will be submitted through e-mail to the [email protected].
