A woman died on Wednesday in Malé City, after jumping from the 10th floor of a house in Maafannu.

A Spokesperson for Maldives Police Service confirmed to One Online that the woman who had jumped had died while being treated at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

Police did not say what age or nationality the woman was. However, they noted that they are investigating the incident.
