HA. Kelly Council has said that many houses have been flooded due to heavy rainfall.

Kelly Council Member Muaz Abdulla told One today that the situation in Kela was dire, with sewage overflowing from some of the houses.

"The police, locals and the council have helped around 20, 30 houses. We have been unable to control the flood and the sewage overflow," Muaz said.

Muaz said that even though the houses were flooded the people are currently staying in their own houses. However, if the floods are not controlled by sunset, Kelaa Council will relocate the affected families to provide them assistance.
