Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Dr. Abdulla Mutthalib has said that the law mandating all water and sewerage projects to be completed across Maldives should be amended to revise the deadline.

He made the remarks while answering a question from Kendhoo MP Mauroof Zakir during the parliament session regarding the water and sewerage projects in the islands.

The Minister said that projects have been commenced in all the islands. However, due to delays, the deadline needs to be amended, he said.
