India's External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has concluded his official visit to the Maldives.

Jaishankar arrived in Maldives on Friday evening at the invitation of Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer.

During the three-day visit, Jaishankar also met With President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, Defence Minister Ghassan Maumoon and Finance Minister Dr. Mohamed Shafiq.

During his meeting with President Dr. Muizzu and Minister Zameer, Jaishankar discussed ways to further strengthen india-Maldives relations, and during his meeting with Saeed, Ghassan and Shafiq, Jaishankar discussed the various issues required by the Maldives.

Jaishankar's visit marked the completion of water and sanitation works carried out in 28 islands of the Maldives under Exim Bank's Line of Credit facility and projects in Addu City.

After celebrating the completion of these projects, Jaishankar returned to India via Addu Gan International Airport this evening. This was Jaishankar's fourth visit to the Maldives.
