Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been contracted to implement N. Maafaru Airport Apron Expansion project by national airline, Maldivian.

The agreement was signed on behalf of MTCC by CEO Abdulla Ziyad and MD of Maldivian, Ibrahim Ilyas.

Scope of work for the project includes, 453sqm demolition of existing fire road, 18,660 sqm topsoil removal, sub-base preparation, wearing course laying, 4047sqm cut, fill, grade and compaction of shoulder, supply and installation of airfield installation system.

The project is valued at MVR 29.85 million.
