A man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for attacking a man with a knife.

Ahmed Nabil, M. Golden Leaf was sentenced to prison for having attacked Ahmed Visham at G. Atharu Villa after dragging Visham out of the shower.

Nabil slashed Visham's forehead and his back. Nabil was charged with intimidation and possession of weapons.

Criminal Court order said that the State had provided sufficient proof against Nabil. As such, he was given a seven-year prison sentence.
