Male' City Mayor Adam Azim has said that since being elected Mayor, he has worked for the betterment of Male' City, political ideologies aside.

Speaking at the oath ceremony of the newly elected members of Male' City Council at Meerumaa Hall today, Azim said that he will continue to work for the welfare of the people of Male' City and solve the problems.

Azim added that the staff at the City Council can testify for his efforts.

"My sincere appeal to all of you is to work together as a team with me to solve the problems faced by the city and serve the people," Azim said.

He urged the newly elected members to cooperate with him to formulate policies on Male' City's affairs.
