The quarter-finalists of the men's open division of the Visit Maldives Pro 2024, which is part of the Bodyboarding IBC World Tour, one of the biggest international sporting events in the Maldives, have been confirmed.

In the men's fifth heat in the first heat today, Spain's Ethan Perez went up against Japan's Hayato Enokido. Enokido won the heat with 14 points against Ethan's 12.2.

France's Ethan Capdeville, who was to compete in the second heat, dropped out after suffering an injury and the heat went to Hawaiian legend Dave Hubbard. In the next heat, France's Maxime Castillo won against Brazil's Eder Luciano. Castillo scored 11.4 points in the competitive heat.

In the fourth heat of the men's fifth round, Gabriel Braga, who is currently ranked second in the world, won against Portugal's Joel Rodriguez. South Africa's Tristan Roberts won the following heat against Spain's Amaury Lavernhe.

World number one Armide Solliveres reached the quarter-finals after beating Yann Salaun. Armide scored 13.5 in heat six. Salaun had a score of 9.5. In the men's division Open by the fifth heat, the last visit Maldives champion Pierre Louis Costes competed in the fifth heat of the men's division Open.

In the final heat of the round, former world champion Uri Valadao won by 13 points, while his opponent, Aitor Ojeda, scored 6.5.
