The man injured during a dangerous hit and run accident yesterday has been transferred to the ward after his condition stabilized.

The injured man was treated in the emergency room of the IGMH yesterday and was discharged to the ward today. His condition is now stable.

A car and a motorcycle collided near the Vinares Flats in Phase 2 yesterday afternoon.

A video of a red car speeding out of control and hitting a man on a motorcycle on the side of the road has been posted on social media. The video also shows the man on the bike swerving and falling on the door of a shop on the street.

The three occupants of the car fled the scene after the accident, but police said in a post on X last night that they had arrested three people in connection with the accident.

Police have also released the names of the arrested. They are; Ibrahim Ikram, 33 (M. Land of Garden, K.Male'), Ikram-ul Rahman, 25 (H. Nooranmaage, K. Male'), Jinah Ismail (Aazadhuge, GA. Kanduhulhudhoo).
