Criminal Court has ordered a 30-day custodial remand for the man arrested for vandalising KFC outlet in Male'.

Maldives Police Service arrested a 48-year-old man under a court order in connection with the case.

Police received reports on Saturday around 0432hrs regarding the vandalism. A similar vandal attack took place earlier last week.

of the KFC outlet windows being broken at 4:32 am last night, just three days after a similar vandal attack on the premises earlier in the week.

The glass panes of KFC were first smashed in the wee hours of May 16, while the second one was smashed in the wee hours of May 20.

Previously the windows facing the parking lot next to the outlet were broken.

The glass panes of KFC in Male' city were smashed and campaigns were held in the country and around the world calling for a boycott of pro-Israel businesses.
