HDC has decided to make major changes to Hulhumale' roads in some areas to solve traffic problems and reduce the number of accidents.

HDC said the changes will be made to 11 areas with most congested traffic and prone to accidents based on data from police and HDC.

As such, HDC said roundabouts will be constructed in some areas and sign boards installed to ease traffic issues.

HDC said that all necessary changes will be made to the roads and installation of sign boards will begin this month and the work will be completed by this year.

With the completion of the project, Hulhumale' traffic problems will improve significantly, reduce congestion on the roads and make Hulhumale' roads a safer and safer place for vehicles and pedestrians as well, HDC said.
