The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has said that the Commission has closed 115 cases related to the MMPRC scam and ordered the recovery of MVR 640 million lost to the state in these cases.

Speaking to the Parliament's Committee on Independent Institutions, ACC's Vice President Abdul Salam said that the Commission investigated 166 cases related to MMPRC, totalling up to MVR 948 million in funds lost to the state.

Out of these cases, investigations have been completed in 115 cases and the state government has been asked to recover MVR 640.6 million dues, he said.
