The national airline, Maldivian, has increased its flights to Trivandrum, India.
Announcing the increase in flights, Maldivian stated in a post on X that they were "excited to announce additional flights to Trivandrum from Male’ starting on 22nd July."
The flights will operate from Malé to Trivandrum and from Trivandrum to Malé every Monday. The flights will depart from Malé City at 18:40, with return flights leaving Bangalore at 22:20.
Currently, Maldivian operates four flights a week between Malé and Trivandrum. These flights are on Saturdays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. With the change, there will be flights five days a week.
Trivandrum is a city where Maldivians frequently go for medical treatment.
Maldivian also operates flights to Bangalore and Cochin in India. It also operates flights to Colombo and Dhaka.
