Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has delivered the first shipment of quay wall blocks required for HDh. Kurinbi Harbour Development Project to the project site.

MTCC said the quay wall block installation work is currently ongoing at the site and new harbour basin dredging operations have reached 51 percent completion.

Scope of work for the project includes maintenance dredging operations of 7,071cbm, new harbour basin dredging operations of 32,381cbm, channel dredging operations of 2,040cbm, construction of 295m breakwater, 340m quay wall, 70m revetment, 10m x 9m concrete ramp, an access platform, and installation of 1,556.61sqm harbour pavement and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 42.45 million.
