Former President Mohamed Nasheed attended the extravagant wedding of billionaire tycoon Mukesh Ambani's youngest son Anant to Radhika Merchant over the weekend.

Nasheed attended the ceremony at the invitation of the Ambani family. Pictures of him at the wedding have since gone viral on social media.

President Nasheed has had a long-standing relationship with India.

Nasheed and several other world leaders also attended the ceremony. They include former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson.

Anant and Radhika got married in a colorful ceremony at the Jio World Center in Mumbai yesterday.
