The Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) has signed an agreement with the Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) to provide emergency supplies to airports.

Managing Director Ahmed Mubeen signed the agreement on behalf of RACL while MPL CEO Mohamed Wajeeh signed the agreement on behalf of the company.

“This agreement will enable RACL to assist MPL in procuring various sea and road resources to bring the airport back to operational conditions in the event of an emergency,” they said.

RACL said the agreement will enable the company to continue providing services to the public in an emergency situation.
