ADK Hospital has requested assistance from the Parliament's Public Accounts Committee to recover MVR 144 million owed by the State.
ADK Hospital, in a letter to the committee, said the amount was owed by the end of former president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's tenure.
ADK said the amount consists of bills sent to the State by ADK for services provided under Aasandha and NSPA, which have been pending since last year.
As per the letter, the State owes MVR 144,376,112 as of October 2023.
ADK requested the Committee to provide all possible assistance through the Parliament to recover MVR 78,555,528 which have been pending for over 90 days.
The letter was sent to the Public Accounts Committee in November last year.
The Committee, in its meeting held today, decided to write a letter to ADK Hospital requesting details of the amount still due and to clear how much the State has paid so far.
