Island Aviation Service Limited, which operates the national carrier, has announced that the Maldivian Airbus A-320 will arrive in the Maldives today after repairs.
Flight Q2-502 and Q2-2502 which were scheduled to depart at 1835hrs and 0445hrs from Male' to Dhaka were cancelled due to technical issues.
Island Aviation said on Saturday that the flights would arrive on Sunday after repairs were completed at Malaysia's Sepang Engineering Maintenance, which is the largest service in Asia.
"Maldivian is scheduled to operate a commercial flight to Dhaka at 2100hrs and international scheduled flights on A-320 will resume as well," Island Aviation said.
The Airbus A-320 is the largest in the company's fleet.
