President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on Wednesday appointed an Ambassador and two High Commissioners to foreign countries.

President Dr. Muizzu appointed Shiuneen Rasheed as the High Commissioner to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Lieutenant General (Rtd) Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef as the Ambassador to the Republic of Türkiye, and Uz Mohamed Thoha as the High Commissioner to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

All appointees hold their positions at the State Minister level.
