Allied's Child Education low-cost promotion plan deadline has been extended.

Allied Insurance said the promotion, dedicated to Child Education Takaful, provided by the company's Islamic window, Ayadi, expired on June 30, but following requests from a large number of customers, the promotion period has now been extended till August 9.

"Therefore, the first 50 customers who take the plan during this period will still get a 50 percent discount on their first month payments," Allied said in a statement.

The Child Education Takaful Plan helps set up funds for children's higher education, and apart from savings, the most unique feature of the plan is 'security', according to Ayadi.

Ayadi will cover the amount that the customer has to pay until the end of the plan period in case the payment is not made due to the circumstances specified in the plan.
