One person is in critical condition after two dangerous accidents in Hulhumalé Phase 2.

Maldives Police Service said a report was received at 8:13 am today that a car and a motorcycle collided near the fifth tower of Hiyaa Flats in Phase 2.

The motorcyclist was injured in the accident and is being treated at the Hulhumalé Hospital.

A 19-year-old man was injured in the accident. He did not have a driving license, police said.

The second accident occurred near the Ahariya branch of Hulhumale Phase 2. The two motorcyclists were injured in the accident which occurred at 9:45 am today.

A 21-year-old man and two 33-year-old men were injured in the accident.

The 21-year-old man also did not have a driving license. The 33-year-old man was in possession of a license, police said.

Police are investigating both cases.
