Environment Minister Thorig Ibrahim arrived in Abu Dhabi on Monday to attend the Global Sustainability Forum.

The Environment Ministry said the minister will address a panel on the sustainability of small island countries.

The forum will bring together more than 100 of the world's leading stakeholders in the field of climate change.

The forum will include extensive discussions on the role of innovative technology and artificial intelligence in addressing climate change, the importance of data to understand and adapt to climate change, and finance, the environment ministry said.
