Over 100 employees at State Electric Company (STELCO) has donated blood during donation event on Wednesday.

The event, which took place at the company yesterday, was initiated by STELCO to participate in providing easy access to blood to those in need.

More than 100 employees volunteered to participate in the event. It was organized by STELCO in collaboration with the Maldives Blood Services.

STELCO said the company's management attaches great importance to serving the society in such areas.

"This program has received a great response from the employees. We plan to continue this program every year. We are proud to thank the employees for their continued cooperation in such activities for the benefit of the society," STELCO said.
