Maldives Police Service on Wednesday revealed that a man has been found dead in Addu City.

According to a message shared by Police with the media, a foreigner who went out to dump garbage was later reported as missing. A dead body in the ocean was later identified as the man.

The man was pronounced dead on arrival at the Feydhoo Health Centre.

The incident is being investigated further, police said.
