Maldives Police Service on Saturday revealed that they had discovered a corpse in a residence at Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo.

Police said today that they had attended to a report of an unresponsive tenant living at a Hanimaadhoo residence.

Upon entering the room, officers discovered the man lying on the bed without any movement. He was a 64-year-old man.

The man was pronounced dead when he was taken to Hanimaadhoo Health Centre.

Police are investigating the incident.
