Maldives Police Service has said a total of 21 cases of theft from mosques have been reported so far this year.

Police on Friday said 6 fans, 2 mobiles phones and water-motors have been recovered after being stolen from mosques.

Male' City Council has revealed that 10 fans have been stolen from Eid Miskiy so far this month.

Even with CCTVs in the mosques, theft cases continue to be on the rise.
