Passengers of the national airline, Maldivian, on the flight to Trivandrum to Male’ delayed in India due to plane issue are being put on another flight.

One Online has learned that these passengers have been delayed for two days. Videos of discontent with the situation has hit social media today.

Regarding the situation, Communication and PR Manager of Maldivian, Moosa Waseem, told One Online via phone that the flight has been delayed due to a technical issue. He said that the issue is being looked into and the passengers are being provided food and stay. Moosa said that Maldivian is working to send the passengers even if it’s on another airline.

The national airline took to Twitter today to announce it formally and apologized to their customers for the inconvenience.
