Shores of the Indian states are on alert as the tropical cyclone “Fani” formed in the Bay of Bengal is predicted to move north.
It is expected that the cyclone would go across Odisha Coast between Gopalpur and Chandbali, around Puri around two days. Winds are expected to be at 175-185 km and 205 during showers. Authorities in Odisha has ordered an evacuation and to keep clear of the shoreline.
And 28 teams of emergency response have been mobilized.
Indian meteorological services have declared the cycle to be level 3.
