Indian Intelligence has informed the Sri Lankan authorities that more bombings could take place in Sri Lanka.

Hindustan Times reported that the Sri Lankan founder of the Tauheed Group, Zahran Hashim, was killed in the attacks on Sunday. It is believed that he was killed in the bombing at Shangri-La Hotel.

They also reported that his brother-in-law has gone to Sri Lanka from Qatar to taken charge of the group.

Hindustan Times said that India gave repeated warnings of an imminent attack to Sri Lanka. However, the adequate steps to prevent the attacks were not taken and the intelligence was not conveyed down the line according to a government official of Sri Lanka.
