Dozens of Palestinians have been killed after Israel resumed attacks on Gaza on Friday, health officials have reported.
Israel's renewed attacks on Gaza come in the wake of the expiration of the 7-day truce. The Israeli army has also dropped leaflets telling people in Southern Gaza to evacuate. Israel has already bombed southern Gaza multiple times, causing dozens of casualties.
Qatar, Egypt and the United States, which have been acting as international mediators had previously pushed for another extension of the truce, which expired on Friday.
More than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7. In Israel, the official death toll stands at about 1,200.
