An Interpol Red Notice has been issued to find Ahmed Moosa Mohamed in relation to the Sea Life case.
Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Hameed, took to Twitter today to announce the Interpol Red Notice against Ahmed Moosa Mohamed (Ammatee) who took money from a lot of people to build flats and disappeared with the money.
Interpol Red Notice is a tool we use to request to law enforcement organisations worldwide to locate or provisionally arrest a fugitive. Last Red Notice request we made was on Mr. Ahmed Moosa Mohamed

A large number of people have filed cases with the police to retrieve their money.
Ahmed Moosa left the country when the police began their investigation. Sources say that he is living in Sri Lanka, an Interpol member nation.
Housing Development Corporation (HDC) gave a land to Sea Life near Treetop Hospital in Hulhumale’ to build a 3,000 unit housing complex. The complex have not been developed and over 200 people have filed to gain their money back.
While many similar cases against Sea Life are at the courts and being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), the Criminal Court has previously ordered the arrest of Ahmed Moosa.
