Taxi carrying alcohol in empty by boxes in Male'

A taxi car carrying alcohol bottles in empty boxes of chicken and tuna cans has been stopped and seized

The vehicle was stopped by the Maldives Police Service near Novelty Bookshop on Fareedhee Magu in Male' City and seize a large quantity of alcohol bottles.

The bottles were sealed in different boxes including empty tuna boxes and eggs cases.

A One Online journalist reported from the scene that there were four boxes in the car which contained alcohol bottles. And one box had about ten bottles of alcohol.
