Former President, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, has been once again transferred to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

While President Yameen has been sentenced to detention by Criminal Court for remainder of his trial concerning charges of money laundering, he was brought to IGMH on emergency on 4 March 2019 and released today.
