Former President Abdulla Yameen is being presented to Maldives Police Service today, according to the opposition coalition.

PNC President AbdulRaheem Abdulla revealed to One Online that President Yameen has received a summon for 2:00pm today.

However, it remains unclear as to why or regarding which case he is being summoned.

President Yameen who is currently under a 5 year jail sentence for money laundering was also presented to the Criminal Court yesterday. The hearing was for another money laundering charge and a charge for accepting bribery.

The last time President Yameen was summoned to the Police was on July 12th. As per his legal team, it was to sign on investigative statements regarding a money laundering charge.
