CEO of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Adam Azim has said that more buses will be brought before August to expand the public transportation system in Male' City.
Speaking on PSM's "Raajje Miadhu" program last night, Azim said that since the bus service in the Greater Male' Area was handed over to MTCC, they have been working to perfect the service. However, the current vehicles in use are old and so cannot provide the best service.
He said that more buses are being brought before August to expand the service to Hulhumale' Phase 2 where a people are going to move to in the future.
The CEO of MTCC said that their bus services are going to start in Addu City, Fuvahmulah City and the Laamu Atoll before August 2022. He said that MTCC aims to complete the assigned projects on time and bring smiles to the faces of the people.
