Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the concrete blocks required for Seenu Atoll Hulhudhoo Harbor Development Project has been delivered.

Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that the fourth shipment of the precast concrete blocks for the quay wall construction was delivered to the project site yesterday.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the the project to MTCC for MVR 66.3 million on 1 March 2020 and the project was mobilized in August of the same year.

The project entails a harbor of 88,623 cubic meters, 114 meters of outer sea wall, 624 meters of revetment, 742 meters of inner harbor along with a bridge that is nine meters long and four meters wide. The contract also includes 2,250 square meters of pavement with the installation of port and harbor lights.
