Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the land reclamation works at Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru.

The project entailed 22.2 hectares of land reclamation , 423 meters of revetment and 315 meters of outer sea wall.

MTCC said that the first shipment of rock boulders required to commence shore protection works were delivered to the project site on 28 August 2021.

The value of the project is MVR 143.1 million.
