Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 70 percent of the dredging work of the Gaafu Alifu Villingili Harbor Development Project has been completed.

Taking to Twitter for an update on the project, MTCC said that 82 percent of the harbor basin dredging had been completed as well.

Villingili Harbor Dredging project entails a 71,519 cubic meter harbor basin according to the company.

The project was contracted to MTCC for MVR 9.1 million.
