A young person has been attacked with a sharp object inside a residential house in the Mahchangolhi district in Male' City.

Media Official of the Maldives Police Service said that an attack on a 19-year-old youth using a sharp object inside a house in Male' City was reported at 11:04 a.m. this morning.

Police said that the injured person was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

However, no further details are available on the extent of the injuries since the Media Official of IGMH is not responding to calls.
