Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 60 percent of the Raa Atoll Maduvvari South Harbor has been completed.

The company said that 65 percent of stone placement of the inner sea wall phase has been completed.

Contract for the Maduvvari South Harbor project entails 7,280 square meters of dredging harbor entrance, a 65,520 square meter harbor basin, 411 meters of outer sea wall and 566 meters of inner sea wall along with 135 meters of revetment, 2,825 square meters of pavement and the installation of port lights and harbor lights.

Contact for the project is valued at MVR 68.6 million and was mobilized on 29 November 2020.
