Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 50 percent of the harbor development project at Laamu Atoll Isdhoo has been completed.

MTCC said that the dredging works for the project have been completed and the installation of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction is currently ongoing with 45% completed so far.

The Isdhoo harbor development project entails a 27,129 cubic meter harbor, 230 meters of inner sea wall, 208 meters of outer sea wall and 98 meters of revetment along with the pavement work of 1,560 square meters.

The project was contracted to MTCC for MVR 34.7 million.
