Vice President Faisal Naseem said that the current administration will divert more funds towards the education sector than any previous administration.

VP Naseem said this at the inauguration ceremony of the School Breakfast Program held at Ameeniya School today.

He further said that it is important to develop the education sector if we are to build a strong generation of Maldivians. The Vice President noted that this is one of the top priorities of the current administration.

VP Faisal Naseem also noted that peace cannot last without establishing a strong generation of Maldivians. He said that the highest priority of this administration is to nurture and care for the progress of children and their education. He noted that the administration will work towards ensuring that the students of today are the patriotic Maldivians of tomorrow who will serve their nation.

The Vice President said that the most important task undertaken by students is education and stressed that students should always strive to keep learning.

He advised students to listen to parents and teachers and to persue lessons with interest. He also stressed on the importance of diligently offering prayers and always striving to achieve outstanding results.
