President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih said that the most important work that can be done to ensure progress is to establish people.

The President spoke at the inauguration ceremony of the largest school in Maldives to date - Huravee School. In addition to establishing people, the President added that there needs to be development of human resources as well.

He stressed that this is one of the most important works that can be done by this administration for the progress of Maldives.

President Solih highlighted the work to open up more educational opportunities and said that the government has prioritized education since day one of the administration. He added that the government is hard at work on the progress of education.

He said that the government is working towards revising educational policies and providing more opportunities for students.

The President noted that new policies on education are being implemented by the government. He reiterated that the move was taken after hearing the people's grievances. President Solih noted the availability of getting a tuition-free Bachelor's Degree as well as 3 per cent decrease in student loan interest rates.

The President stressed that the most important work that can be carried out for the progress of this nation, is to establish people.
