Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that 60 percent of the harbor project at Baa Atoll Fehendhoo has been completed.

The company said that the Installation of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction has been completed.

The project entails, 25,000 cubic meters of dredging the port entrance, 18,500 cubic meters harbor basin, 130 meters of breakwater, 282 meters of revetment and 214 meters of key wall along with the development of a ramp and the installation of harbor and port lights.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC for MVR 49.6 million and the project was mobilized on 20 November 2019.
