President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih noted that Ali Hussain, the owner Novelty Printers and Publishers, had contributed various outstanding services to the Maldivian people. Ali Hussain passed away earlier this morning.

President Solih made the comments today in a statement conveying condolences to the family and friends of Ali Hussain. The President expressed his prayers for Ali Hussain in the hereafter.

Ali Hussain had begun his contributions to the printing industry some 50 years ago and gone on to contribute remarkable services to the history of Maldives. He had printed books on Maldivian history, free of charge. His contributions to the government had been during former President Ibrahim Nasir Rannabandeyri Kilegefaan's administration where he had also worked in the Office of the President.
