Maldives Transport and Contracting Company has said that the the harbor development at Thaa Atoll Guraidhoo is moving forward at a fast pace.

The company said that the rocks needed for the inner sea wall has now been taken to the project site.

Under the project, a 208 meters of an outer sea wall, 22 meters of revetment, 370 meters of inner sea wall and 370 square meters of harbor pavements will be developed by MTCC.

Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the project to MTCC for MVR 46.01 million and signed the agreement on 1 October 2019.
